What are moving animations?
Moving animations are series of images, can be 2D or 3D that is positioned in order to move. It is also called as animated gif or anti-java animation. These are images that you can see as moving, though it is just a series of images put together.

To make moving animations, one should have an extra teaspoon of patience as it can be hard to understand at first. To make moving animations, here are the steps:
- Animated gif program: To make moving animations, you have to first download an animated gif maker or program. You might not need to download anymore if you already have. Some free animated gif programs or makers are gimp and others while there are some sold for .85 such as Easy gif animator.
- Find images: As it is said, moving animations are a series of images roll past quickly to appear moving. So, you have to look for series of images that you will make a moving animation. The images should have the same size or frame. A tip for the beginners, it would be better if the pictures are almost similar with the color and all so that it will really look as if it’s moving. The smaller the image the better the quality of the moving animation would be.
- Making the animated GIF: Now that you already have the images that you will make into moving animations, you can now make it into animated gifs. Now, open the animated gif maker or program that you downloaded. If you are using gimp, the first thing that you have to do after you opened the program to make moving animations is to go to file, select new, and select the size you want. As I’ve said, it would be better if the animated gif is small. The next thing that you have to do is to insert the image that you would want to use. After that, you can change the color of it if you want. If you already edited the color of the image, the next thing that you have to do is to is to create a new layer or frame. You can do that by going to the window of layers channels and paths and look for the box in which your image is displayed. Right click on that image and click duplicate layer, now, your image has been duplicated. After this, you can choose to edit the color of your image or not. If you already decided about the color, you can duplicate the image again by doing the same procedure on how to duplicate the image and you can move the image into the direction on where you would want it to go and if you are already finished duplicating the images, depends on you on how many frames do you want, you can save that by click on file and select save as and go to select file type and select .gif image and hit save. Click save as animation if another window opens again. You can open in on an image viewer and it if is not moving animations; you may try to open it on firefox.
Moving animations are fun and easy to do once you get used to it. But, if you don’t want the hassle and bustles in making moving animations, you may look for cool moving pictures or images over the internet that is readily made.
